Madison Ice Rink, Spearfish
This afternoon our oldest daughter and her friend went ice skating in Spearfish on the Madison Ice rink. It is located in the City of Spearfish Campground. What a great place for an ice rink. It is right along Spearfish Creek. There are a few benches and a picnic table, there is also a fire ring that could be a great place to warm up. If the cold affects you like it does me, you’ll be glad to know there is a port-a-potty there too.
How do you find the Madison Ice Rink?
The Spearfish Parks and Recreation Department has a map, here. All you really have to do is drive through the City of Spearfish Campground and you’ll find it.
A nice little place to do some ice skating in Spearfish, just don’t forget the hot chocolate!
